TROUBLESHOOTING

My modem works within Windows 3.x but does not work in MS-DOS.

With most Boca modems, the modem is disabled by default; to re-enable the modem, first go into the modem configuration utility and ensure that the DOS support is enabled. Once enabled, this should add the below line within your autoexec.bat:

C:\MODEM\OLEDOS

Also ensure that the EMM386 line is also present within the config.sys and that it is not remarked.
