Solution:

To install My Briefcase click Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add Remove Programs / Accessories, look for my briefcase, usually the first. If you do not see it, there is good chance that this is already installed. If listed, check the box / click ok / reboot computer.

If it is not listed or the above has been completed, click on the desktop with the right mouse button, click new and click My Briefcase.
