Issue:

Unable to disable Write Precomp within CMOS is there another way?

Cause:

Some older computers do not have this as an option as it was not considered in the early stages of computers and computer hard disk drives.

Solution:

Set it to 65535 or -1 which will disable the Write Precomp.
