After connecting to the Internet, I receive another prompt for username and password.

Issue:

After connecting to the Internet, I receive another prompt for username and password.

Cause:

Computer is attempting to log onto a Windows NT network / domain.

Solution:

1. Click Start / Settings / Control Panel / double-click on Network
2. Highlight Client for Microsoft Network and click properties.
3. Uncheck the box, Log on to Windows NT domain.
