Compression driver cannot be set up correctly.

Issue:

The compression driver cannot be set up correctly. Get a version from your vendor that is compatible with this version of Windows. Press any key to continue.

Cause:

The incorrect version of the boot files are not in the root directory of the bootable drive.

Solution:

Using a Windows bootable diskette, boot the computer and at the A:\> prompt type:

sys c: <press enter>

This should return "System Transferred". Once transferred, reboot the computer without the diskette and the issue should be resolved.
