Would a cable signal boost from my ISP improve Internet speed?

Question:

Would a cable signal boost from my ISP improve Internet speed?

Answer:

No. A cable signal boost done by your ISP or from a signal booster purchased at a local retail store will only improve on the clarity of the signal. If you have an extremely poor signal and/or your signal is coming to your cable modem through multiple splitters, you could notice a better connection with a signal boost because packets were being lost.
