Aztech CD-ROM doesn't work with IBM Dala-3450 hard drive.

Question:

Aztech CD-ROM doesn't work with IBM Dala-3450 hard drive.

Answer:

This is caused because the pulse width for DASP signal is not asserted long enough by the CD-ROM drive to comply with that of IBM hard disk, which requires a minimum of 400ms timing. This results in the improper detection of Aztech IDE CD-ROM Drive. This issue can be resolved by updating the CD-ROM's Firmware, which can be found on the Aztech's Driver Page.
