AFK

Shorthand for Away From Keyboard, AFK is often used in chat rooms and in games to let others know that they are away from the keyboard and going to be unable to respond to any talking. Below is an example of how this would be used.

User1: That's pretty funny.
User2: Heh yeah, AFK.
User1: Ok.
User2: Ok I'm back.
User1: WB
User2: Thx
