Released on February 4, 2019, Apex Legends is a video game developed by Respawn Entertainment. In this free-to-play battle royale game, 60 players drop onto an island in squads of three where they must scavenge supplies, and then fight each other until only one squad remains. Apex Legends features eight characters, each of which has unique special abilities.

Apex Legends is available for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It is free to download, but additional items may be obtained via Apex Coins or Apex Packs, which are both purchased with real money as microtransactions.
