Started by researchers who previously worked on ChatGPT, Claude is an AI (artificial intelligence) chatbot developed by Anthropic. It utilizes a prompt that accepts up to 75,000 words where users can submit questions or requests and receive highly-detailed responses. Its other distinguishing feature is that it allows users to attach documents for analysis, rather than text-only input.
Trained using Apple's terms of service and the United Nations Declaration, Claude is called a "Constitutional AI" because it favors responses that encourage freedom, equality, and a sense of brotherhood.
