A term used to describe a type of computer player that kills creatures in a game to obtain valuables. Often this player will camp or kill the same creatures for an extensive amount of time, obtaining several valuable items that can then be sold in game for money and sometimes even be sold for real life money to other players. Because money is the easiest item to farm and easiest to sell, many massively multiplayer games (MMORPG) have gold farmers who sell their earned gold for real money to other players.
