Gearhead can refer to any of the following:

1. A gearhead is someone interested in mechanical things and electronics, such as automobiles, computers, stereos, and TVs. The term describes someone mechanically inclined, with a mind for details and a curiosity for how things work. Often, their hobbies include taking things apart to see if they can put them back together correctly, or trying to reassemble them better than they were originally.

2. Gearheads was a computer game developed by R/GA Interactive and Philips Media. The player uses simulated wind-up toys in an arena setting, trying to get their toys to the other side while preventing their opposition from getting to their side. The game was released in 1996 and was quickly discontinued less than six months after its release.
