Hardcore

When referring to games hardcore refers to a player with above average skills and abilities and/or a player who plays a lot and is able to achieve more than a person who does not play as much. Hardcore may also refer to the game type played, for example, in a MMORPG game a PvP server is often considered more hardcore than a non-PvP server.
