| The Internet2 is a consortium of over 200 Universities working with industries and the government to develop advanced network applications and technologies. The Internet2 is not meant to replace the Internet in the future, and unless you are part of the group working to develop the technologies in Internet2 or at a University participating, you cannot connect to the Internet2.
