Meebo

Released in September 2005, Meebo was a popular chat-based social network which was shut down in 2013 after merging with Google+. Meebo had a primary focus on private messaging and chat rooms. Meebo featured connections to other instant messaging platforms, allowing users to sign in and send messages using Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and AIM (AOL Instant Messenger).
