Neural network

Also known as connectionist architecture, neuromorphic systems or ANN (Artificial Neural Network), a neural network is a method of simulating intelligence based off how the human brain receives and processes information. 

Because Neural networks rely off of parallel processing, standard computers are incapable of performing the tasks needed for neural networks and require special hardware and/or processors.
