Pin feed

Also known as tractor feed, pin feed is a method of moving paper through a printer. Pin feed printers contained rollers or wheels with small pins surrounding them, these moved paper with holes that are evenly placed on each side of the paper. This method of moving the paper was commonly found on dot matrix printers.
