Preview pane

A Microsoft Outlook feature that enables a user to quickly display an e-mail message and does not require each e-mail to be opened. Earlier versions of Microsoft Outlook required an additional add-on to enable this feature. However, with the introduction of Microsoft Outlook 2000, this feature came pre-installed. Below is an example of what the Microsoft Outlook Preview Pane may look like.

  • Additional information about enabling or disabling the Microsoft Outlook preview pane can be found on document CH000782.
