1. Short for Serial Communications Controller, SCC is an Apple Macintosh expansion board or chip that controls a computer's serial ports; for example, the SCC may have support for the RS-422 or other similar standards. 
2. Short for Shipping Container Code, SCC is a 14 digit number commonly used with distribution networks.
