Ubisoft Connect

Released in 2009, Ubisoft Connect is a proprietary video game distribution program created by Ubisoft. Ubisoft Connect is used to manage a user's library of Ubisoft games and downloadable content. It allows users to launch games, install updates, communicate with friends, and download previously-purchased content. The games and content are accessed using a Ubisoft account, secured with a username and password.

Ubisoft Connect was known initially as Uplay. In October 2020, the service was rebranded as Ubisoft Connect and combined with the Ubisoft Club loyalty rewards program. The newly-combined service allowed users to access all of the features previously found on either of the old ones.

Ubisoft Connect is required for playing Ubisoft games on a Windows computer, even if the game was purchased using a different platform, such as Steam. While not required on PlayStation, Xbox, Wii U, iOS, and Android, Ubisoft Connect can still be accessed through them.
