XJACK

3Com network card with XJACK connectorConnection used with laptop network and modem PC Cards. The XJACK connector is a small plastic piece that can be extended from within the card, this plastic piece has a hole that allows the RJ-11 or RJ-45 connector to plug into it. To the right is a picture of the 3Com OfficeConnect 10/100 LAN PC Card with the XJACK connector extended on the right-side of the card.

Although this type of connection is an easy to use solution and does not require an external cable or dongle to be connected to the card. If the user is not careful with the XJACK this piece can be easily broken off.
