ABOUT REALPLAYER
RealPlayer was one of the first widely available streaming
audio players available over the Internet. Originally called
RealAudio, the user had the capability of listening to live audio
over the Internet without having to spend several hours
downloading. After the popularity with RealAudio, RealPlayer was
released with RealPlayer; the user was not only able to listen to
streaming audio but now also streaming video. Because of the
high demands of audio and video, the streaming video does have its
problems for slower connections or for times of high traffic.
However, overall with a 28.8 connection the video is ok for the
time it requires to get it.
