Content View

Content View is a new feature for Windows 7.  It is viewed when you type a key word into the Windows Search box

  1. Click on the Start Orb.
  2. Type the name of the file or document you are looking for into the Windows Search box. See image below.
  3. When you click on see more results, it will bring up the new Content View which highlights the key words you typed in.  This allows you to see all documents containing the key words on your computer. 
  4. Click the search box in the upper right corner of the Content View screen to narrow down the search.
  5.  This will bring up 4 filter options: Kind, Date Modified, Type, and Size.  You can also type in your own filter, such as Author to narrow it down even further.
