Founded in 1991, HiSilicon is a fabless semiconductor company based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, and is wholly owned by Huawei. HiSilicon purchases licenses for CPU designs from ARM Holdings, and also for their Mali graphics cores. They are reputed to be the largest domestic designer of integrated circuits in China. The company also leads the way for innovations in networking and ultra-HD video technologies, chipset solutions service for high-speed communications, smart devices, and IoT to video applications, etc.
