Road Runner & Cable - 1 Input
« on: January 13, 2006, 04:19:56 PM »
I currently have my computer set up in my room in front of the cable wire coming from the wall. I have the cable wire into my modem but I also have a t.v. that I need cable on. I tried to use a 2-way splitter but no dice. Is there anything I can do to get Road Runner and regular cable with a splitter or something? Thanks.

Contact your cable company for the best solution. They do this ALL the time.

Oh, okay. My dad is going to call them today. I do remember that my brother who uses the same ISP has one input but cable t.v. and road runner, I wonder how he did it.

Probably a spliter, BUT sometimes you have to boost the signal as well so the TV reception does not suffer.
