what is the best way of transfering software from my PC to my Laptop, with the least amount of problems.

    b26bobby..... How much do you have to transfer ?
    If you have a burner in the pc ....... burn it to a cd and move it that way ?
    Or ..... you could do file transfers using ICQ , MSN messenger or the like .
    Or ..... Use some crossover cables.

    If you're trying to transfer installed software, forget it.  You'll need to use the original installation files.
    Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
