Power Supply Switch
« on: July 17, 2006, 11:28:00 PM »
Hey all, I have a quick question. I purchased a PSU from New egg last week, and today I finally got ther est of my custom computer. I've been doing stuff for 3 hours now and When I go to turn the PSU on, it won't flip...!!! I swore I checked it before and it would, but is there a way to fix this? I've opened it up and seen if something was out of place, and if I turn it and press the fans and stuff start to come on but just shut off... Please HELP!

Is it properly connected to the motherboard? If not it probably won't turn on.

I tried the other PSU I had in my other computer and that worked, but the Mobo is DOA, well part of it is at least. The panel slot (were you connect the front switches) doesn't generate any power. I took the front of the new case I had and tried the stuff with the old computer and it worked, so it's the mobo...sad =( because I have to wait for another one...

Unless there is a way to turn on power without pressing the switches? lol
