Can anyone help. I have a PPAS 2003 SYSTEM set up by AEW Computing. Unfortunately license has expired and I am unable to renew as A Watson (AEW) died earlier this year. Unable to contact anyone connected with this and I am locked out of my system!

PPAS (private practice accounting system) is embedded in Windows XP/2000. I really dont know much else except I used to have the dos version which became obsolete in 2000(!)

Just a thought. Has anyone taken over the license of PPAS? Alex's family didn't say and I stupidly didn't ask. I tried to renew and couldn't so just assumed would be ok (oops) I know my information is there but cannot get at it. Anyone know anything about PPAS?

when you say you are locked out...of windows or this program...i thought these are the kings of accounting>http://www.sage.co.uk/considering/welcome.asp   found this eve if it any good ..just looked at the manual>To change your license, ring 07831 440 059, or email us at [email protected], and you will be given a new license number. Click on License, and enter the number. Your program will then be automatically updated.

I am locked out of PPAS program. Windows OK. Have already tried this. Alex Watson, who wrote and administered PPAS died earlier this year. All phone numbers unknown, websites inactive, e-mails undeliverable. Has anyone taken it over, have it or have any active contacts?
