I'd definitely buy PCI-E, not AGP. AGP is outdated and it becomes increasingly more difficult to find either AGP mainboards or AGP videocards.
not really man, we have a whole box full of old 2x 4x and 8x cards at my work, highest is a 128, but, still, there are a TON of them, and there might be a 256 or two in there, never looked, too many too look through.
