    microphone problems

    my microphone is ver low. i have adjusted the settings from control panel putting the volume to the highest and have tried to set it up using the microphine setting wizard it tells you to read a piece of text and the bar is supposed to go green. i have to scream to make the bar go green.

    it was fine before but now i dont know whats wrong. thanks for any help.

    You may be missing a key software setting.  When I first tried to use a mic with my computer, I experienced the same thing.  I found that my C-Media software had a panel where I needed to check a box for "Enable Microphone Booster” before I could get a normal sound level from the mic.
