Can I use more nameservers for my web site?
    « on: May 24, 2007, 01:17:14 PM »
I have a wimpy web site that goes down for no reason. I think the server is overcooked. I have over web space available. Can I  just copy  all  my stuff on the other server and then just add it in the name server stuff in the DNS thing? That way if the first two name servers do not respond, the others would. Is that right? Ore does it not work that way?
I am so embarrassed  :-[ I have been doing that stuff for years and never learned exactly how the DNS works. Do I have it all wrong? I thought I should ask before I try.

You have a registered domain name, right?  Do you use a fee-based hosting service?  Any support available from them?
