Vista gadgets where is the folder?

I am trying to find the gadgets folder for window vista home premium 32bit. Currently when i go online to download a gadget, it is saving to my desktop. Where should i save it to? I have tried dragging it into the sidebar where the gadgets are, but no luck.

You have to doubleclick on downloaded gadget to install it.

Thanks man, I'm going to have to buy a Windows Vista book. I like Vista, but its like finding my way round rooms in a mansion, including the wardrobes and draws. All of a sudden i feel like a newbie
