    Is there an update for the avg anti-spyware?  I'm useing 7.5

      Well, there is AVG 8, but I don't think you'll want to update to that...

        AVG 8 seemed to be plagued by some problems according to complaints from users, at least when it was first released back in May.  Personally, I've been using it since May and am satisfied with it.

        I've had zero issues since 2 months ago installed on numerous builds and will continue to recommend it...
        Every program/vendor has hiccups from time to time.

        AVG Anti-Spyware and AVG Anti-Rootkit are no longer available as separate products or downloads.
        They are now integrated into AVG Internet Security 8.0, which is not free.

          maybe I should wait, I had a problem finding it but umm if it comes with the other stuff I'm not going to get it.  I have an antivirus an when I tired to put there firewall on there anti-virus installed as well.

            is there a way to do it???  I just dont have enough time an there really old or is there an old but newer verison I could get mean like a one more closely outdated of the program so that the defs would be fairly new.

                    Just that some are slower then others,  It took about three hrs but its updated so I figure that the others will take about that long.

                      It was a while ago when I did get the program its self.  The speed at which it can the data would also be important.
