Virtual Memory
« on: March 30, 2005, 07:06:02 AM »
When I want to play Championship Manager on XP, I get a message about low virtual memory, it says it is increasing the paging file, but it still doesnt work. I then went to a computer store to increase my RAM to 256mb. I still get the message. I set the paging file to System managed (762mb) and I still get a message. What can I do so my game works?

How much RAM does the game require? Maybe you aren't meeting the requirements...

I suggest you check Direct X is installed with the latest ver.  is you graphics card support openGL, a good graphics gaming card have built in memory to take over from win system.  256MB of RAM is a bit on the low side in my opinion, try 512 of physical memory and adjust your pagefile to 3 times of your physical memory (custom size) not system managed
