    Reboot Problems
    « on: August 08, 2009, 07:47:07 AM »
I found similar problems in this forum, but none that match mine. I hope someone can help.
I have a Toshiba Satellite A205 Laptop with Vista. I have began experiencing a frustrating problem.
If I am watching a video online or running an extensive computer scan, my computer shuts down.
When I power back on, for example, I have yahoo mail set to remember me for 2 weeks. I have to sign in to that page or any other login page all over again.
A few times, it would not even turn back on. It would start to come on and shut down. o The fan seems to be running ok and can't understand how that would affect the glitch of not remembering my cookies.
Any advice? I have run virus and registry scans and don't seem to find anything out of the ordinary.

    Please, post some computer info:
    - processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
    - hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
    - security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)

    Download, and install SpeedFan: http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
    Post your computer temperatures:

OK, so now, start watching some videos, and keep an eye on SpeedFan's readings.

Those temps looks rather high to me, even if it's laptop. What processor is it?
When you watch the movie do those temps stay in 80C range, or they keep raising?
