Maybe on that link, but searching from yahoo.com on my iPod brings up a lot of google links.

and this is surprising because?

this may come as a surprise but they are rival search engines. you really think they WANT you to use their competition.

What your implying is that, say, wal-mart should have signs out front, "if you cannot find what you need here, try some other excellent stores, such as walgreens or Home Depot" And grocery stores should have their competitors flyers put out,

"CHECK OUT THE GREAT DEALS FROM OTHER STORES!"

I went to yahoo.com, typed in google and saw where it goes. All relevant links, no mudslinging. Like I said for the first 2 times: YOUR LINK SHOWS THAT, NOT WHEN I SEARCH!

And I'm not sure how showing the google search results for yahoo search prove that the first hit for google on yahoo search weren't google, but I'll play along.

it's doing the wrong thing by having a single line of text when you search for google on yahoo?

How is this the wrong thing?

if this dissuades anybody from using google I would be surprised.

Why would someone go to SEARCH.yahoo.com when they can search from yahoo.com?

Would you go to SEARCH.google.com if you could go to google.com and search from there?
