      why are the programs this site offer usually mediocer and able to get for free from just about any download site. youtube mp3 downloader, big city night screen saver? This site fails

      um.... the giveaways are for FULL VERSIONS. the only way you can download the full versions for free is illegally.

        What was meant my post, is that their are thousands of different types of mp3 rippers, firewall services, etc. with better quality as the ones provided in the site. And their both free.

        Then why bother to even acknowledege this site? No one is forcing the programs upon you.
