When I open Internet Explorer I get this box that pops up with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and it says " stack overflow at line : 0 "  I don't know what this means or how to fix it. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.. I am a beginner so I need step by step instructions please.. Thank you

Most likely your home page has a script error. Either choose a new home page or disable script debugging in Internet Explorer settings. If you say what version of Internet Explorer you are using, either I or one of the hotshots around here will tell you how to do this.

That's your version of Windows. I asked about Internet Explorer. In Internet Explorer go to Help - About Internet Explorer  and see what version number it is.

disable script debugging in Internet Explorer settings.
Open IE then look for Tools menu. Choose Internet Options and go to Advanced tab. Under browsing look
for disable script debugging(for internet explorer and other) and checkmark both then hit Apply, Ok.
Close your browser then try launching again.
