Countdown Clock
« on: August 18, 2006, 09:46:27 PM »
Hi, it's been awhile since I've posted since I've been ill.  Anyway, I am looking for a free download on a countdown clock.  Nothing fancy, just something where I can put an event time and date in and the clock will tell me how many days, hours and minutes til the event.

I went to google but there were so many I didn't know which way to turn.  Any suggestions from anyone?

Thanks,

Flashy

You're in luck. I had some code lying around the snippet closet.

It is written as a HTA (HTML Application). Unzip the file with a HTA extension. If your pathext environment variable does not include the HTA extension, you must include the extension when running the job.

Example: scriptname.hta

HTA's run under control of MSHTA.EXE. I don't know when Microsoft first introduced this technology, so it may not run on all machines.
