Audio cd's won't burn correctly
« on: July 26, 2007, 11:58:49 AM »
My computer will not let me burn cd's, and I have no clue why. When I try to burn a cd with Windows media player, a message pops up after 1 or two songs have been written, and says that I should choose a slower recording speed. I have tried all of the recording speeds that WMP allows, and I have tried using itunes, Realplayer, and other programs to write the cd but nothing works.

I use I use Sony Supremas CD-R 700 MB discs, and I do not have the option of using a different brand of discs.  My computer is a Dell dimension 8110, windows xp, Celeron D.

Do you get the same pop up message with the other burning programs as well? I usually use Nero. What other ones have you tried?
If you hear beans rattling....... that means I'm thinking.
