Hello. It's me again.  Questions on Memory Upgrade
« on: March 09, 2005, 11:40:50 AM »
When upgrading a Dell C600 to 512mb of RAM, am i removing the 256RAM chip already in there and adding one 512 chip or am I adding another 256RAM chip to the mother board, which means there will be 2/256RAM chips installed?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

From what I read on various sites you will need 2 X 256.  512 is the maximum for your system.  So if you already have (1) 256MB chip then you need 1 more, if you have (2) 128MB chips then you need (2) 256MB chips.  I don't see a 512 MB chip for the system.
