drive issue

I have a data 80 gb maxtor drive an had installed windows 7 on a 300 gb sata drive, thing is that for some reason I cant assign a letter to the 80 gb drive.  This has a lot of data on it that I want to keep.  Any idea's I only have dynamic disk, properties an offline, help as choices.  Also it maybe some time before I reply back.

Does it show up in Disk Management ? ?
Right clik My Computer.....select Manage...then Disk Management.

What does this mean ? ?
Does it mean that most of the drive shows up in Disk Management...or all of it ? ?

patio, it turned out that the IDE on board mite be bad.  Also, the card is from 2k an wont support a drive that large an just been useing the cd rom ide connector

2K drive support went all the way to 137G...

oh, I dont know.  The card is limiting me to that much space though I suppose.
