    Windows 7 having issues
    « on: May 14, 2011, 11:21:13 PM »
The other day i booted my computer like any other day but after i typed in my password, windows 7 hanged at the welcome screen. i let it sit for about 20 mins with no results so i was forced to reset it, and i did the same thing but it logged in into my desktop....very soon after it brings up a prompt saying "This instruction 0xf911aec0 referenced memory at 0x911aec0 could not be written" and was puzzled. Then i realized that no program would load no mozilla firefox or simple files like my computer, etc. So i was thinking it could have been a bad update so i tried a system restore to a point before the update -> no help. So i then let my computer sit for 22 hours on Memtest 86+ (8gb) and there were no errors. (my next step is going to put in my ram 1 by 1 and check them that way). But my main question is i have 3 Samsung F3 500gb drives in a RAID 0 array...now if i were to take them out and test then one by one will i be able to put them back and still have a messed out OS of windows 7? And or do you have any idea on what might my problem may be

P.S. I know it could also be the way microsoft is recognizing the memory (i have a 320gb drive with XP that i am running right now and it has zero errors)

Check also your user or admin. accounts. If possible, try replacing your main account.
