What is the difference between a copy
Microsoft Office 2010 14.0.4763.1000  and  Microsoft Office 2010 14.0.4760.1000

kpac

I'd imagine it's the version number. When you download updates through Windows Update etc. for Office, the version number changes to a more reason version. It's the same as anti-virus definition databases.

there must be some update to the software, or why they update the version number. Even if it's just a small one or two patched security fix....

OK
But what is the final release ???

Peterwolfe

isnt it a "build" number?

joolifinaa

It is Very good copy you have the option of what software to choose upon installation. Version is 14.0.4760.1000 the only trouble is if you go into Microsoft Word, click on File Tab, then click on Help you will find that this product requires activation. All works without activation but I say to myself how long for ??

Have you ever considered investing in a legitimate copy or using OpenOffice? As far as I'm concerned people who don't pay for the product have absolutely no right to complain about the activation process.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

Of course. Why does the percentage of idiot posts increase in the N Hemisphere summer? Is it the Sun's magentic field?

Hey, I wrote about "idiot posts" and mentioned the sun's "magentic field". Must be a moral there somewhere.
