there was av360 on my system that was blocking my sites and i got it of and the sites are still being blocked

AV360 ... that's the new antivirus 2009 scamware isn't it?

http://www.xp-vista.com/spyware-removal/antivirus-360-antivirus360-removal-instructions --> I'd double check that the stuff's been rid of completely. Maybe it's still hiding somewhere still bothering your computer.

Anyway, I'll recommend you do a HiJack this Scan and have evilfantasty, broni or some other malware specialist of this forum to make sure your pc is clean. And you should post all computer information in your initial posts if you need help. What windows are you using? what are your computer specs and what do you do on your computer or have been doing on your computer when you got infected, etc.

I know you say you fixed it yourself but I would still follow the first link below and run all the scans and then follow the second link and post the results so that you can get a clean bill of health for your PC from the Specialist.
