So there is nothing under C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Temp?

    yes there is files but not microsoft word files. there are 3 folders, cookies, temp internet files, and history. i checked through all of them and they dont have the file im looking for


    and i jsut tried opening the file again from my email and saving it. it doesnt show in the temp folder

    Well, can you find out where the current word document is saved?

    Also, have you done a search yet?

      i cant find the current word document... its called file[2]. i made a change to it and i clicked saved but when i search it nothing comes out. ahh maybe i really cant recover the first one T_T
