I'm a new iMac user (just bought it week ago).  I tried to install Office:mac 2008 but my Mac doesn't allow it unless I type in my administrator password.  Well, I don't remember setting one up.  I do, however, have the paper work from the store and they have a password written on the Personal Setup  paper they gave me.  I tried that password and it still won't accept it.  What do I do? How do i reset my password?
Thanks

If its a week old, have you contacted the store you bought it from?

Have you tried pressing Enter without typing a password?

No, I haven't contacted the store yet because I have a one to one session this next weekend (I guess I can wait until then).  ANd, yes I have tried just hitting Enter but that doesn't work.

I finally changed my admin password.  Just had to place install disc of OS and hit the 'C' button to boot from disc.  Then it asks for language preference and from there I went to menu bar under Utilities where there is a 're-set password' option.  but now I have another problem.  See my next post.
