internet browser problem..help me plz!!!

okay this has been happening for about a couple of weeks now...and its really pissing me off...

everytime i try to click on a link that opens up a new window...IE would freeze up for about 2 mins or so and the new window wouldnt pop up..i always have to copy and paste the link to make it work

and to open up IE i cant click on the icon.. i have to right click it and select open..

can sum1 help me out wit this problem plz?

That's what you get when people fail to mention their operating system.

Merlin, I think the SFC /Scannow command is the command I require to repair my Windows XP. (It scans for missing files, assumably) It is a shame I cannot try it on my own computer at the moment, but I thank you for posting that link.

If you try to remove Internet Explorer in add and remove programmes, you should be given the option to repair.
