has anybody ever thought that the new graphics card may be ether overheating
or malfunctioning causing tee system to shutdown?
do you happen to have onboard video?
if so enable it in the bios and remove the video card
if not do you still have the old one?
if so  try it instead

    hopefuly with this new heat sink my cooling set up will work more efficiently
    i should be getting it on monday

      tried with the 8600 it used to have
      and it doesnt have onboard video
      same thing happaned

        YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY that heat sink worked great
        i played two levels of left 4 dead without any blackout ~!!!!! =D
        thank you to everyone who helped
        this is a great after market heat sink
        im never using stock heat sinks on gaming rigs again ^^;;
        again THANK YOU!!!!

        btw it was a arctic cooling freezer 64 pro it works wonders
