To use the keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Alt key, and while continuing to hold, press Backspace.
Alt+backspace in many text editors
In some text editors, pressing Alt+backspace is a method of doing undo. For example, if you mistakenly cut text, this keyboard shortcut would undo that action and restore the text.
